The Evolution of Agape Europe Now!

G. Paul MillerWe on the Agape Europe Communications team strive to “tell the story” of what God is doing here in Europe – to unite and encourage staff members across the continent. For many years we mailed you a printed publication, but as technology has advanced, so have we.

Most of us have adapted to reading the news, doing research, checking the weather forecast and being entertained through the Internet. As a result, a couple of years ago we radically changed our delivery method and started publishing Agape Europe Now! electronically. One big advantage of this decision was the ability to publish in multiple languages – allowing more staff members to read it in their mother tongue.

This month, we are taking another step forward as we publish the newsletter on WordPress, making it more interactive. By subscribing to the RSS feed, you can now be notified in your email client or Web browser of any new content published. You can also comment on the articles and tell us what kind of things you would like to see written about. In fact, we would love for you to write to us about how the Lord is using you – perhaps we’ll be able to post your story!

Let us know your thoughts on this matter, or on the new look!

Yours for a stronger staff family across Europe,

G. Paul Miller

Love your post!! Finally someone got it right!!! Would you mind if I put a blogroll link back to your post? :)

I’d like very much to be kept abreast of what’s being done to get the gospel to the western Europeans……….however, according to one of the side info boxes on the main Campus Crusade for Christ site, Agape Europe is only maintaining a relationship with the staff of whatever university you’re located on ??

Agape Europe is reported to be almost “dead in the water” because the claim is that the students (you should be reaching out to) are leaving the university faster than your people can get to them and establish a connection ??

It sounds to me like the Agape Europe ministry process very much needs to be stepped up time-wise (or more efficiently) to justify your being there – which is to make connections with the students and pass the gospel / Salvation message to them. Your “mother entity” – Campus Crusade for Christ started that way……I’ve never had more than a few single college classes at a couple local community college campuses, but I know how Campus Crusage for Christ got started (decades ago) – and it kept going (and apparently growing) to the point of now being international (my church has congregation members actively involved in the foreign mission trips, and letting us know the results – with digital slides – after they’ve returned).

I’ve been made aware of how atheistic the British Isles have become from an article in the Los Angeles Times a while back…..plus, comments I read on my att.net home page news blurbs (that open to each article with all the comments following the articles) have opened my eyes to how wrongly evolutionistic / atheistic most of the world’s people are …….which I’m now daily including in my morning prayers, and why I’ve started investigating as to whether any organizations were involved in trying to reverse Satan’s growing control over the minds / lives of so many “lost” souls.
